Program terms

The short version of the rules

The full agreement is sent with your code. These are the parts that decide whether you get paid.

Commission is 30% of each payment a referred user makes to Diat in their first 12 months after first payment, on monthly and annual plans alike.
A user is attributed to the first partner code or link they used. Attribution does not expire and is not transferred to a later code.
Commission is calculated at the end of each calendar month and paid out within 15 days once the balance reaches €50. Smaller balances roll over.
Refunded or charged-back payments are deducted from the next payout.
Self-referrals, referring your own household, and buying subscriptions through your own code are not paid and end the partnership.
No paid search ads on the Diat brand name or misspellings, no ads that look like they come from Diat, and no spam. Organic content and your own channels only.
Coupon, cashback and deal sites are accepted case by case at the Creator rate.
You disclose the partnership where your platform or local law requires it. Either side can end the partnership at any time; earned commission is still paid.

Before you apply

Is this an affiliate program?

Yes. The Diat affiliate and creator partner program pays a recurring commission on the subscriptions you refer, tracked by your own code and link. It runs direct, without an affiliate network, so there is no network account to set up.

How much does the Diat partner program pay?

30% of every subscription payment made by a user you referred, for their first 12 months. That applies to monthly and annual plans. Payouts are monthly, once your balance passes €50.

Do I need a minimum number of followers?

Not for the Creator track. If you have an audience that cares about food, fitness or health, you can get a code. The Partner track, which adds free Diat Pro and fixed-fee campaigns, is for creators with roughly 5,000 or more engaged followers.

How are my referrals tracked?

Two ways that work together. Your link (join.diat.app/p/YOURCODE) passes the code through to the app install on iOS and Android. And anyone can type your code in the app under Settings → Enter referral code. Either way, the first partner a user is attributed to keeps that user for life. There is no 30-day cookie that expires.

What does my audience get?

A discount on Diat Pro when they use your code, and an app that logs a meal from a photo in about two seconds. The discount is the reason people bother to enter a code, so it matters that yours is real.

Can I promote Diat with paid ads?

You can run ads to your own content. You cannot bid on the Diat brand name or run ads that look like they come from Diat. Coupon and cashback sites are considered case by case, at the Creator rate.

How long does approval take?

Up to three business days for the Creator track. Partner applications take a little longer because a person reads them and usually replies with questions.

Do I have to use Diat myself?

No, but it shows. The partnerships that earn well are the ones where the app is already part of how the creator eats, and audiences can tell the difference. Partner-track creators get Pro free so there is no excuse.

What happens to what I put in the form?

It is stored so we can read it and reply, and it is used for nothing else. Ask us at contact@diat.app and we will delete it.
